Clean Plus NZ – Home Cleaning Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to all residential cleaning bookings made with Clean Plus NZ. By booking our services, you agree to the terms outlined below:
Services Offered
- ✅ Regular Cleaning: Weekly or fortnightly standard home cleaning.
- ✅ Deep/Spring Cleaning: Thorough cleaning, including additional areas.
- ✅ Move-In/Out Cleaning: Full property clean for relocation purposes.
- ✅ Optional Extras: Add-ons such as oven, fridge, window, carpet, or upholstery cleaning (must be pre-booked).
Booking & Payment
- ✅ Bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
- ✅ Payment is due on the day of service unless otherwise agreed.
- ✅ We accept bank transfers and major credit/debit cards.
- ✅ A cancellation fee of 20% of the total booking amount or $100 (whichever is lower) will apply if the service is cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment.
- ✅ Clean Plus NZ reserves the right to charge late payment fees if invoices remain unpaid after 14 days.
Access to Property
- ✅ It is the client’s responsibility to provide safe and timely access to the property.
- ✅ If cleaners are unable to access the property, a call-out fee of $100 may apply.
Satisfaction Guarantee
- ✅ If you are not satisfied with the service, please notify us within 24 hours. We will return to rectify any reasonable issues free of charge.
- ✅ No refunds will be provided unless service is not completed due to our fault.
Health & Safety
- ✅ We do not handle hazardous waste or biohazard materials.
- ✅ Clients must inform us of any pets, allergies, or health risks on-site prior to the service.
Property Condition
- ✅ Homes must be in a reasonably tidy state prior to cleaning.
- ✅ We reserve the right to adjust pricing if the condition of the property is significantly worse than expected.
Liability
- ✅ Clean Plus NZ is fully insured. However, we are not liable for pre-existing damage or wear and tear.
- ✅ Clean Plus NZ does not take responsibility for moving furniture or handling any fragile or breakable items, including, but not limited to, glassware, pots, ornaments, statues, or collectibles.
- ✅ Clients are advised to move or secure such items prior to the cleaning service. Any handling of such items by our staff is at the client’s own risk and request.
- ✅ Any breakages or damages caused by our staff must be reported within 24 hours. We will assess and resolve this on a case-by-case basis.
Optional Extras
- ✅ Must be requested at the time of booking.
- ✅ Subject to additional charges and time allowances.
Privacy
- ✅ All customer information is confidential and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
Changes to Terms
- ✅ Clean Plus NZ reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions with notice. The latest version will always be available upon request or on our website.
